School performances

Past musical performances by Grogus, JoJo Glidewell from Modern Skirts, and Hardy Morris from Dead Confederate. These performances aim to inspire creativity and help strengthen relationships between children, families, schools, and the music community.

AthFest Educates Mini-Grants

  • The mini-grants typically range from $250 to $1,000
  • Supports projects and initiatives which may be not be possible without a little extra help.
  • AthFest Educates encourages people to be creative with their applications and share how their initiatives will impact the lives of others and contribute to the arts education community!

Mini grants are awarded twice per calendar year. Online applications are available during publicized application windows.

AthFest Educates Instrument Purchases

  • Purchased instruments will be played by the children of the community for years to come.
  • Recipients include the UGA Strings Program, Athens-Clarke County School District, and Athens-Clarke County Library.
